Spy shots reveal a range of cosmetic changes on the 2019 Yamaha R25. Most prominent, the split headlights look more pronounced and are likely to get the LED treatment. There is also an air intake between searchlights, similar to R6 and R15 v3.0. However, it needs to be seen if the air intake does not provide functions unlike R15. It also seems that the gift has received reviews for a clearer appearance. Spy photos also reveal the gold finished Thistle USD on 2019 R25 which replaces the telescopic forks in front of the current version. The new generation Yamaha R25 is also likely to come with radial brake calipers, while the semi-digital control module of the current version can be replaced in favor of a full LCD module.

Yamaha R25 ENGINE

The 250 cc parallel-twin engine is likely to remain the same, but may come with more technology on board including “led variable actuation ” (VVA) technique. The current model produces 35 horsepower and 22.1 nm of peak torque. While you can expect the power numbers to see the increase, we also expect acceleration times to reduce the width of a quarter-liter. The 6-speed transfer will continue on R25 2019 and it is also likely to get a paw slipper this time.

It is expected that many of these changes will be migrated to the Yamaha R3 as well. 321 CC parallel-twin cylinder, liquid coolant engine currently produces 41 horsepower and 29.6 nm of peak torque. The bike is likely to be detected a bit later after the R25 is officially detected, as was the rule when the prototypes were first detected, and will lock horns against Kawasaki Ninja 400, KTM RC390, and Benelli 302r in India.

Yamaha Yzf-R3 arrived in 2014 and was highly appreciated for its impressive ride-on-the-drive and brilliant handling engine. Expect the new model to retain all of this while improving performance. The new Yamaha R3 is expected to be launched globally next year, while India is expected to start operating in 2020.
